Excellent interview in the Times today with Big Frank Lampard, possibly the most unfairly maligned footballer in the Premier League.
His no-nonsense, criminally underrated game, reminds me of England's greatest midfielder of the 90s, David Platt.

I don't want to hear a fucking word about that fat fucking cunt after Sunday. His celebration of his penalty made me want to stave his Cockney-twat head in.
And on a more substantial note, criminally under-rated by whom? He gets all kinds of fawning props.
You need to shake yourself from your paranoid scouse mindset, Stef. He was celebrating because he'd scored a goal, not to wind you up.
You're wrong about the fawning props too. A few years ago he was getting the accolades, but due to the cyclical nature of media, he was permanently criticised throughout last season, despite scoring more goals than ever (21 in all comps)
Also he has a body fat percentage of 8%, one of the lowest at Chelsea.
Glad to see body fat percentages being drawn in as evidence.
The leaner the better in a midfielder? is BMI or BFP an overlooked statistic? (Moneyball style).
